I have zero issues with these clamps. They are very sturdy and clamp on to my muslin stand without any issues at all. The springs are very strong and can hold a lot of weight if needed. No issues with the seller - shipped very quickly.

These clamps are sturdy and handle heavy volume with no problems. Ignore any other comments claiming that these are cheap or poorly made. I am a portrait photographer and am constantly taking backdrops down and putting them up before and during a shoot. These clamps have never slipped or broken even though I usually attach and reattach them quickly during shoots. They ARE plastic, but it is a strong and rugged type of plastic that won't break if used correctly. In addition, the orange "teeth" do an excellent job of assuring grip.
The price is right as well. Buy them already and worry about more important things.

When I recieved my Muslin Clamps along with the cotton back drop I was excited. I always handle my equipment carefully no matter what it cost. I examined every one of the clamps and I found them to be strong enough to clamp and hold my backdrop. I'm very satisfied with this product and plan to purchase more products in the future as well as larger Muslin Clamps to hold heavier backdrops. I've already reccomended Cheaplights products to friends. Thank you, Cheaplights.

Like many of the other reviews have said - these are cheap plastic clamps that could have been bought from a dollar store. They are too small to work with the heavy duty background kit:

I guess if I would have read the reviews I would not be writing my own, But I was in a pinch and I bought these clamps. My first warning is that the clamps are all plastic. not a big deal but they are not built to last at all these are ideal for the situation I was in though. I needed them in a hurry and got them and not I need another set two of them came apart on me during the shoot which was a bother but they still held tight. they held the background on fairly well even though they are kinda small but they did there job and held on during the shoot. So even though they are poor quality, they do what they are intended to do. Great in a pinch but not worth buying again. I will keep them in my bag just in case a catastrophe arises. these cannot be your permanent solution for a common problem. two clamps came apart and many tips are off.
