Great buy
Awesome price!, the shipping was around the same or more than the card. If you go to bestbuy, it costs a lot there. I bought one 16 GB micro SD for 13 bucks at amazon when at bestbuy an 8GB is 39.99. Awesome price guys!

great way to store your pictures
I buy the 4 GB memory cards to store my pictures. Just another way to back up my cherished photos. At this price it makes it a great alternative to an external hard drive. Small enough to store in a safe deposit box. The Kingston 4GB SD card is a great price & great quality and I will purchase it again.

SD Card worked twice, then failed for good. BAD!
Purchased the Kingston SDHC 4GB mem card from Amazon in July, 2010. When I put it in my Panasonic FH20 camera I got a screen warning of "Insert Memory Card Again." That should have been a clue right there, but I complied and popped out the card and reinserted it. It work OK and I took a few photos and movies. I then removed it and placed it in the SD card reader of my 3 month old HP desktop PC, which read the card just fine and I was able to transfer the files to the PC's harddrive. The next day I was able to take several more photos and movies and transfered them to the PC OK as well. But then I noticed that the card no longer showed as a "drive" in Windows 7 as it had a few minutes earlier. I removed the card and reinserted it. The PC tried to access the card but was unsuccessful, but giving no indication of an error, and just not recognizing it. I then placed it in back in the camera and promptly received the "Insert Memory Card Again" error again from the camera. So from that point on the SD memory card has been dead.

I've used many SD memory cards and this issue is not user related. Based on the similar recent reviews here, I can see that Kingston clearly has a problem with this card. But at this point it's just not worth it to fight with Kingston or Amazon over my loss of $10. So I'll eat the loss, move on to another SD card manufacturer, and leave this review as a warning to others.

Stopped Working After 1 Week!
Purchased this card for my Nikon D40. Card worked great for the first 500 pictures, but now no camera or computer (I've tried several of each) recognizes the card or any of the pictures on it. Holding out hope that I can still get some of the pictures off the card by taking it to a photoshop. Never had a problem with a memory card before this one!
