Flip UltraHD Camcorder, 120 Minutes (Black)

My husband carries this Flip everywhere. The HD version is worth the extra money. The picture quality is amazing! You will not be sorry with this purchase!!

I've used this camera in multiple situations. We've used it underneath a house in the crawl space with one hanging light, and it performed very well. My band uses it to record rehearsals. At first, it was picking the bass guitar up way too much so we adjusted some of our volume levels, and we were pleasantly surprised at the amount of sound this little microphone captures. Also, we took it out on a boat at a local lake and recorded some fun tubing action. It recorded our voices on the boat very well and only had a small amount of wind noise. I'm not sure how it avoided the wind noise, but it did, and the video turned out great.

Finally, getting these videos from camera to computer is super easy. It comes with software preloaded on it so you can make edits to it, but I just drag the video off of the camera and leave it on my desktop. Sharing to YouTube is really easy too.

I'm really impressed with how easy this camera is to use. It shoots great video, it records sound well, and it's really easy to share your videos with the rest of the world. . . if you want.

I bought first Flip Ultra Camcorder 2nd Generation, 120 Minutes but I lost it then I bought Flip UltraHD Camcorder and both were very nice easy to use but the picture in the flip UltraHD is so great and I view it on my 52" LCD tv and it was very nice. I do recomend this camcorder to buy

This little video camera really lives up to its hype. Very compact and easy to carry. The software loads automatically the first time you connect the camera to a computer and offers many options for what to do with the video clips and is very intuitive. The video format plays on my digital video player (Western Digital) I have connected to my television so I simply drag files to a flash drive and watch on my TV. Besides the on/off botton there are only 3 buttons and a control ring for volume, scanning through videos, and highlighting commands on the display. That may seem like it would be so simple but it takes a little getting used to the sequence of buttons if you want to delete video from the camera. Picture quality is very good for this price level of camera, although it tends to be a bit shaky at times. I was pleasantly surprised at the low light capabilities. The overall quality of the camera for this price is exceptional. It feels solid and well built. The battery life is not great but the fact that you can slip in regular AA batteries if the battery pack runs out is a huge plus so I gave 4 stars on battery life where I may have given 3 for the battery pack itself. I do wish there was some kind of battery life indicator other than the warning you get when the battery is just about dead. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend the Flip Ultra HD to anyone looking for a compact video device.

good: nice color/night shots, HD quality, simple and easy to use.
BAD: too shaky picture, without image stabilization this is not worth buying. wonder why people are buying.
